This Privacy Policy explains how QAIR ENGINEERING PTE LTD (“Qair”, “we”, “us”), UEN 202106861N, collects, uses, discloses, protects and retains your personal data when you contact us, book a service, or create an account on this website.

1. The personal data we collect

We practise data minimisation — we collect only what we need to serve you:

  • Name and contact number (mobile / WhatsApp);
  • Email address (optional);
  • Service location (the address or area where work is needed);
  • Booking details you provide (service type, number of units, preferred date/time, notes about your air-con).

We do not require, and ask that you do not send us, sensitive information such as NRIC numbers or financial account details. Payment is made directly via PayNow or cash.

2. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide quotations;
  • schedule, confirm and carry out the services you request;
  • contact you about your booking (e.g. to confirm a slot, give an arrival time, or follow up after a job);
  • issue receipts and keep records required for accounting and legal compliance;
  • improve our service quality.

We will only use your data for purposes you would reasonably expect, or for which you have given consent.

3. Consent & the Do-Not-Call (DNC) provisions

By submitting an enquiry, making a booking or creating an account, you consent to us collecting and using your data for the purposes above. We will not send you marketing or promotional messages unless you have separately opted in, and we honour the DNC Registry. You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 8).

4. Disclosure of your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it only:

  • with our own technicians assigned to your job;
  • with trusted service partners strictly where needed to fulfil your request (e.g. supply of a specific part or unit);
  • where required by law, regulation, or a valid request from a public authority.

5. Protection of your data

We take reasonable administrative, physical and technical measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, use or disclosure. Access is limited to staff who need it to serve you. For the live website, bookings and accounts are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored in a secured system.

6. Retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, or as required for legal, accounting or tax obligations. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

7. Cookies, analytics & advertising tools

This website uses minimal functional storage to make the booking form, account features and floating WhatsApp button work properly. We also use the following third-party services so we can understand how the site is performing and improve it:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Google sets a cookie that lets us see aggregate statistics — how many people visited, which pages they read, which marketing channel referred them, and which devices they used. GA4 is configured to not share data with other Google products, and IP addresses are anonymised. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram): If you arrive from a Qair Meta ad, a cookie helps us measure whether the ad led to a booking and lets Meta find people similar to existing customers. Meta's privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
  • Cloudflare: Our hosting provider records a small amount of technical data (IP address, browser, request time) to protect the site against abuse and to keep it fast.

These tools collect only de-identified or aggregate data — they do not have access to the name, contact, address, email or booking details you submit through our forms. Those details are stored separately and only used to deliver the service you asked for.

You can opt out of all analytics and advertising tracking by enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or by using a privacy-focused browser / extension. Doing so will not affect your ability to book or contact us.

8. Your rights — access, correction & withdrawal

You may, at any time:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • withdraw your consent to our use of your data.

To make a request, contact our Data Protection Officer (below). We will respond within a reasonable time. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain services to you.
